Russian Authority approves the Sukhoi Superjet 100 materials
April 22nd, 2010, Moscow - As a part of Sukhoi Superjet 100 type certification process, the Interstate Aviation Committee Aviation Register (IAC AR) certification centre “Material”, has approved materials utilized in SSJ100 aircraft production. The issued approval confirms compliance of the materials to Russian Aviation Authorities requirements. Materials approval constitutes an important step forward in the Aircraft Type Certification process. This approval confirms that, given the operational environment expectations, the utilized materials are adequate and durable and support designed strength and other important operational characteristics.
