ENAC signs agreement with Russian Authority for the introduction of Russian aircraft and mainly SSJ100

ENAC, Italian Aeronautical Civil Authority, and IAC, the Russian Civil Aviation Authority, signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will facilitate the introduction in Europe of the aircraft produced in Russia.

The agreement, signed by Alessio Quaranta, General Director with ENAC, and Alexander Donchenko, General Director with IAC, will facilitate mainly the entrance of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional jet into the European market.

The important agreement was signed during a meeting attended by the heads of Alenia Aeronautica, SuperJet International, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company, and the Civil Aviation Authorities of Italy and Russia.
“This is a strategic agreement for the success of the SSJ100 programme – said Vito Riggio President of Enac – ENAC will play a role of collaboration to make the SSJ100 an airplane of great technological innovation and strong commercial success”.
