July 22, 2010
SuperJet International is participating in the Farnborough Airshow 2010 from July 19th to July 25th 2010.
The London’s show represents the perfect chance to introduce to the public and aviation experts the regional SSJ100 aircraft, which it will be viewed both in static and flight displays. SJI is present in Farnborough 2010 with its own innovative chalet centered on the “green aircraft” concept. In order to focus this notion, a hydroponic installation made up of 2200 green plants crosses the whole chalet.
In this way, the visitor is involved in an environment completely distinguished for the use of eco-friendly materials. Besides, the guest’s interest is also caught by the technological content of the chalet. One of the rooms is equipped for the projection of a 3D video. Through the images the visitor is drawn in a new dimension which will allow him to appreciate the aircraft characteristics in natural sceneries created exclusively for the show.
On Wednesday, July 22, SuperJet International signed an agreement with Pearl Aircraft Corporation for the sale of thirty Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft, plus fifteen options. The announcement was made at the Farnborough International Air Show by Mr. Alessandro Franzoni, Chief Executive Officer of SuperJet International, and Mr. Jan Soderberg, Chief Executive Officer of Pearl Aircraft Corporation. Pearl Aircraft was advised by Aerbiz Business Consultants.
Based on the price list, the order for the thirty aircraft is worth over $900 million U.S.dollars.
