SuperJet International delivered its 20th SSJ100 to Mexican Interjet

The 20th Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) joined the Interjet fleet. The aircraft was rolled out from the SuperJet International’s hangar and took off from “Marco Polo” Airport in Venice (Italy).

Interjet signed with SuperJet International a total order for 30 aircraft in the 93-seats configuration tailored with the exclusive Pininfarina interior.

In the last years we have been working intensively to support and assist the growth of Interjet’s fleet, to meet the customer’s requirements in particular during its “peak season” – states Nazario Cauceglia, Chief Executive Officer of SuperJet International.

In the meantime the operational data of the Interjet SSJ100 continue to hit its positive scores. According to the airline’s operational reliability report, 19 aircraft have logged almost 53.000 flight hours and more than 47.000 flight cycles starting from the EIS in September 2013. The SSJ100 are operating from Mexico City and Toluca to various Mexican destinations including some destinations to the Unites States and to Cuba.

SuperJet International’s task for the 2016 is to deliver additional 7 SSJ100s to the Mexican Interjet.
